1. What is UNIQUE about Happy Days ?

The Happy Days concept is different from other Senior Citizens products available in the market today. This is NOT a COMMERCIAL or Charitable Society and runs on Co-Operative basis Sharing the Costs with No Profit Motive. Some participants will be on Advisory Board to guide the Organisation. At Present the Founder in his 90’s has Experienced the problems and Started this with his Personal Funds. Unlike other facilities for seniors, you don’t live in a large complex housing many seniors. The Happy Days concept means living in a Homely atmosphere along with Only 3 or 4 couples.  You live in a self contained house or an apartment NOT a large community of elders.

 

2. What is my initial capital investment?

Unlike the products  available in the market you need not invest Rs. 60/80 lakhs for a 2 bedroom apartment located faraway from the City Centre. You also pay monthly maintenance and Municipal tax.

Your capital is safe with you and continues to generate  a  monthly income for you.

Interest Free Deposit of 5 lakhs for minimum period of 3 years to meet cost of Equipment. 

The deposit is Returned when Leaving Happy Days after 3 years. The Lock in Period is 3 years.

Monthly maintenance deposit for 3 months.

Rs. 10,000 + GST application fee is non refundable.

 

3. What is the difference between Elegant and Premium packages?

The difference is mainly in the quality of accommodation. Premium packages typically

offer larger living spaces with better ambiance. All other facilities and services

are identical for both packages.

 

4. I’m not 65 as yet, can I join too?

On a case by case basis we can make exceptions. Do let us know what your specific reasons for wanting a shared living with  seniors are.

 

5. SOCIAL EVENTS

The Members are in Various Units and to give opportunity to Meet the Lunches 

with Not More than 30/40 in a group at Hotels / Clubs –  Fortnight

We will have Dinner every Fortnight in one Unit where we celebrate 

Birth Days Wedding Anniversaries of Members. 

We will have Yoga Classes in one Unit and others Interested Can Join- 

We arrange Tours Every Year  2 Tours in India and 1 Foreign Tour which Interested 

Can Join with their Family & Friends – ON Payment.

 

6. Who owns Happy Days?

Mr. C. Nagendra Prasad & Mrs. C. Pushpalatha Prasad who are over 85 years 

are funding the Start Up. 

Happy Days is a NPO (Non Profit Organisation). Funds and fees collected 

are usually just sufficient to cover costs.
